How long does it take for limits to go into effect?

When setting limits for the first time, or when decreasing a pre-existing limit, the limit request will go into effect immediately but will run for an extended initial buffer period before transitioning to the typical calendar-based cycle.

When increasing a limit you won't have to wait through a buffer period and the request will follow the standard calendar-based cycle. For example, if I set a $100 weekly limit on 5/24/24, and on 6/24/24 I request to raise it to $200, I won't have to go through a buffer period since I already had my $100 limit in place for over a week, and my limit will be raised to $200 on 7/1/24, and reset each week.

Sample Scenarios:

Daily Limit

If you set or decrease your daily deposit limit at 4 p.m. on a Tuesday, the limit will go into effect right away, but it will not reset until 12 a.m. on Thursday. Moving forward after this initial reset buffer period, the player's limit will then start to reset every 24 hours at midnight.

Weekly Limit

If you set or decrease your weekly limit on Tuesday, 6/18/24, the limit will go into effect right away, but it will not reset until 12am on 7/1. After that initial buffer period, the limit will then reset each Sunday at midnight.

Monthly Limit

If you set or decrease your monthly limit on Tuesday, 6/18/24, the limit will go into effect right away, but will not reset until 8/1/24. After that initial buffer period, the limit will then reset on the 1st of each month.
